New Untapped Workforce delivers first training session

Training GroupThe project carried out its first training session during July 2006. Training was to prepare 23 candidates to successfully complete their work placements at the WOMAD festival in Reading and Disability Art Festival in Bracknell. Candidates had two half day training courses in administration and stewarding. They learnt basic things about customer service, handling money and reception skills. The feedback from trainees was really positive and they thought that the training really gave them valuable information to be able to work in hospitality, tourism and leisure sectors.
